This Privacy Policy explains how NOW Connect ("NOW", "we") handles personal data on this website and in the NOW Connect app. Company registration details and the responsible entity will be added before public launch.

1. Data we process

  • Contact form. Your name, email, chosen topic, message and language, used only to answer you.
  • Account and profile (app). Name, optional age, city, profile photo and the information you choose to share.
  • Messages and calls (app). Messages, media and call signaling needed to deliver communication between users.
  • Approximate location (app). Only if you enable it. Location is coarsened on your device and again on our servers; exact coordinates are not stored, and other users only see a rounded distance.
  • Technical data. Basic server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.

2. Why we use it

To provide and secure the service, to answer your requests, to prevent abuse and to meet legal obligations. Where the GDPR applies, the legal bases are performance of a contract, your consent (for example, location and the contact form) and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers for hosting, databases and email delivery, who process data on our behalf under contract. We may disclose data where required by law.

4. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request. App data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized after account deletion, unless the law requires longer storage.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent and to complain to a data protection authority.

7. Age

NOW Connect is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
