A WORD FROM THE FOUNDER
A story that began with the wish to be heard
Imran AyvazovFounder of NOW Connect
How it all began
Sometimes the biggest ideas are born not in the offices of large companies, not at business meetings and not out of long business plans.
Sometimes they are born in the hardest moments of a person's life.
Such a moment came in my life too.
The world I knew seemed to collapse in an instant. Everything that only yesterday had felt familiar, reliable and unchanging suddenly lost its meaning.
I found myself in a state of deep loneliness. Life went on around me. People were hurrying somewhere, smiling, talking, making plans. And I seemed to be left alone with my thoughts, not knowing where to go next.
And what I missed most then was the simplest thing of all: human contact.
One day I was sitting in a café.
There were people all around me. Someone was laughing, someone was talking with friends, someone was enjoying a cup of coffee.
I watched them and thought about how much I would like to simply talk to someone.
Not necessarily about my problems. Not necessarily about the past.
Just talk. Have a coffee together. Hear someone's voice. Feel that you are not alone.
And it was then that I asked myself:
Why, in a world where technology lets us reach a person on the other side of the planet in seconds, is it sometimes so hard to find someone who is right nearby and would also simply like to talk?
We have social networks, messengers, thousands of apps. We can talk to the whole world, yet sometimes we don't know who to have a cup of coffee with.
I realised that today's digital world was missing something very important.
Real human closeness.
And then I had an idea.
What if we created a space that helps people find each other exactly when they want to?
Not tomorrow. Not in a week.
But now. NOW.
That is how the idea of NOW Connect was born.
More than just an app
From the very beginning I did not want to create yet another messenger or social network.
I wanted to create something bigger.
A digital space that brings modern technology together with real human needs.
Where you can not only message and make audio and video calls, but also find people nearby, get to know them, meet, talk, and discover new places and opportunities.
Where technology can help people feel safer thanks to SOS emergency tools.
Where new opportunities for self-fulfilment and earning will appear through NOW Earn.
I see what makes NOW Connect unique not in any single feature, but in the very philosophy of bringing people, opportunities, communication and safety together in one ecosystem.
My goal is that a person opening NOW understands: the world around them is full of people, events and opportunities that can become part of their life today.
Artificial intelligence is an important part of our story
There is one more important part of this story that I want to talk about openly.
It is artificial intelligence.
When I began developing the idea of NOW Connect, I faced many questions.
How do you turn an idea into a real technology product? How do you create a convenient interface? How do you bring different features together? How do you find solutions to complex technical problems?
This is exactly where artificial intelligence played a huge role.
It became my tool for discussing ideas, finding solutions, designing, analysing, preparing technical specifications and helping with software development.
It was an unusual experience of human thinking working together with the possibilities of modern technology.
Artificial intelligence does not replace professional developers, engineers and specialists. But it can greatly expand what a person is capable of, help them learn, experiment and move forward.
I am convinced that we are living at the beginning of a new technological era.
An era in which, to bring a big idea to life, what matters more and more is not only financial resources, but also imagination, persistence, willingness to learn and the ability to use new technologies wisely.
For me, NOW Connect is also a story of how a person and artificial intelligence can work together to create something useful for society.
And there is a special symbolism here.
We use artificial intelligence not to replace human communication, but to help people become closer to each other.
The people who believed in me
On this path I understood one very important truth:
Not everyone who is beside you is truly close to you. And not everyone who is far away is truly distant.
Sometimes life teaches us its most painful lessons through the very people we trusted most.
Those who were beside you for years, with whom you shared joys, hardships and hopes and made plans for the future, sometimes unexpectedly become strangers.
And then you realise how fragile something can be that only yesterday seemed solid and unbreakable.
But it is in exactly such moments that life reveals another truth.
Real closeness is not measured by the number of years lived together, by daily meetings or by the distance between people.
In my life there were those few who, despite hundreds and thousands of kilometres between us, kept believing in me.
They could not always be there physically, but they stayed close at heart.
They supported me, waited, found the right words and helped me not to lose faith in myself.
There were not many of them. But it was then that I understood how priceless sincere human support is.
Sometimes people thousands of kilometres away turn out to be closer than those who were beside you for years.
I am endlessly grateful to this small circle of people.
To my family and my parents, for their love, patience and faith in me.
To my mentor, with whom I worked for about fifteen years in television, for his wisdom, life lessons and professional experience, which will always remain part of me.
To my close friends and the people dear to me, for not turning away, for continuing to believe in me and to support me even from a distance.
And to my close friend, a psychologist by profession, who in the hardest moments of my life was there above all as a friend. His sincere conversations, human understanding, friendly advice and support helped me find the strength to keep going.
I will not name names. Those to whom these words are addressed will recognise themselves.
I want them to know: I remember every kind word, every bit of support, every sign of attention.
Perhaps some of them do not even realise how much an ordinary conversation, a message, a few kind words or simple attention meant to me.
But sometimes it is exactly these seemingly small acts of human kindness that help a person believe in themselves again and find the strength to go on.
Once, I myself needed someone to simply be there. And today I want NOW Connect to give other people the chance to find each other in exactly such moments.
For me, this is one of the deepest ideas behind NOW Connect.
And if one day this project becomes part of the lives of millions of people, I want those who believed in me from the very beginning to know: a part of their kindness and support will forever remain in this story.
Thank you for believing in me.
Even when thousands of kilometres separated us.
Even when everything seemed lost.
You were far away. But I never felt your support as distant.
A story that will one day become a film
I want the story of how NOW Connect was created to be told one day in a documentary film.
Not only as the story of a technology project.
But above all as the story of a person who once found himself in a difficult situation in life and, at exactly that moment, found the strength to start something new.
I want to show how a single thought that came over a cup of coffee gradually grew into a big idea.
How the first concepts appeared, interfaces were created, decisions were made, technical difficulties arose and ways to overcome them were found.
What mistakes had to be fixed, what obstacles had to be overcome and how much patience it took to keep moving forward.
Artificial intelligence and its role in creating NOW Connect will have a special place in this film.
I would like viewers to see not only the final result, but the journey itself.
A journey that is still going on.
Perhaps this story will one day inspire another person who is going through a hard time today and does not know how to begin a new chapter of their life.
My dream
I dream that one day NOW Connect will bring people together in different countries and cities around the world.
That thanks to our platform, new acquaintances, friendships, partnerships, interesting projects and real human relationships will be born.
That a person who finds themselves alone in an unfamiliar city can find company for a walk.
That someone who lacks conversation can find someone to talk to.
That people can discover new opportunities, feel more confident and know that modern technology can bring real benefit.
I understand that there is still a lot of work, testing and difficult decisions ahead.
But I believe in this idea.
Because it was born from a real human feeling.
And if one day, thanks to NOW Connect, even one person who was lonely finds a friend, smiles after a meeting or feels that their life has become a little better, then all of this was not in vain.
Today I understand one simple truth:
Sometimes what seems like the end of the familiar world becomes the beginning of something completely new.
And perhaps that is exactly why this project got its name.
NOW.
Because life does not happen yesterday or tomorrow.
It happens now.
NOW: the future starts now.
